Favourite quote is by Stephen A where he basically says that you know you are in the wrong when you are making Kyrie Irving look like the reasonable one :-) Stephen A Smith - A man who is both anti Doncic and Jokic. At various times this season he has claimed Edwards, SGA and Brunson are better guards than Doncic! His opinion is not worth listening to! I haven't listened to a word that man has said in years, he's a complete embarrassment.

He's the human equivalent of a tabloid newspaper. All headlines and not much substance. I find him occassionally amusing and also some of his controversial takes on things get some interesting debates. So in this case I thought his opinion that Doncic should take a look at himself as he was making Kyrie Irving look like the "reasonable one" was funny and also correct in my opinion.
Anyway. They key thing here is does anyone believe that the Mavs really found the key to unlock the Celtics in G4 or were the Celtics just guilty of over confidence/bottling it/bad day at the office?
I think it will be fascinating if the Mavs can find a way to win G5. It will need a superstar performance from both Doncic and Irving I think. It will also need contributions from Washington, Lively, Jones, Gafford and Green.
It might also need Porzingis to be sidelined still.
I really feel if if the Mavs nick it then the Celtics are capable of collapse. My money is on Boston closing out though

You can't bet against a team up 3-0 just going on the history. It will happen eventually, most likely when a team suffers massive injury issues and loses 2 or 3 of its best players in a game 3 win. But I don't think it happens here. I would like to see what happens if Dallas can win game 5 though.
As for Stephen A, I like him but don't always agree with him. At least he speaks his mind though, and doesn't back down from an argument.

Well, there it is - the Celtics return to form and dominate to win game 5. Not the best final ever but there were some good moments from both sides. Brown takes the MVP and rightly so. I hadn't realised that Tatum and Brown had played over 100 playoff games together, nor that they have the record for most playoff games by 2 team mates before winning a title. The time sure flies, doesn't seem that long ago they were both new in the league!

If they stay together (Brown and Tatum, and White/Porzingis to a slightly lesser extent) they have a really good shot at continuing to dominate given the only players on the roster over 30 are Holiday and Al Harford.

Very talented team. It will be interesting to see them properly tested in a more competitive East where the other play-off teams are hopefully not so injured! On the other hand they largely managed all this with limited use of Porzingis and it cannot be denied he made a big impact to an already excellent team.
I was disappointed with the finals as there was only really one game that felt close. The other 4 were dominated by the winning team.
Donic poor 3 point shooting, Irvings sub par play overall and Bostons excellent defensive strategy plus the deluge of 3s were the key factors for me.
Bring on the Olympics!! (struggling to see Doncic turning out for Slovenia)
