This one I just do not get from BE.
If a 4th tier is needed (I am not sure it is) then why not call it D4. Radical idea I know but.............
I think that what would be better is if they got the regional managers to actually spend some time working with the top county/metropolitan leagues to develop them.
Here in the North East where we are Tony the top half of D1 Durham and the whole of D1 Tynemet is easily at that level. The regional heads should be working with those leagues to help clubs looking to make the step to NBL get ready. Bar 1/2 players your Mens D3 team, who are very competitive, are all also D1 Durham League players. Mainly for Mohawks.
So why introduce another level below? Surely better to work more closely with what already exists in the already existing, BE affiliated regional leagues?
