Surrey at home won't be pushovers, judging by how they played against Lions recently. I hope we play much better than we did on Friday.

Surely Surrey won’t beat Leicester………or will they?
Will Kimbal be back?

Do Riders even want to win this one? Gladiators are far more beatable than Sharks IMO. Much as it pains me to say it but Sharks might be the biggest realistic threat to Lions.

Nix Ben Thomas and Aaryn Rai were at Derby vs Reading play off game last night. Maybe BT wants the vacant Derby job next season

The same Sharks team that barely beat Plymouth yesterday? Definitely not how I see things currently. Pretty much the exact opposite in fact. At this point it's hard to imagine Riders or Eagles making much noise in the playoffs, whoever they end up playing. Both appear to be finishing the season with a real whimper. That being said, I far prefer our chances of scraping through the first round against Sharks than I do against Quade Green's Gladiators. We're 3-1 versus Sharks this season and our last win against anyone was in Sheffield. I'll be pretty pissed off if we don't give this our best shot. I definitely think winning would give our playoff prospects a bit of a boost. And tbh I feel like we could just do with a win at the moment full stop, regardless of who it's against and how much we believe is at stake. Unfortunately the highlighting of Justin Robinson v Sesan Russell as a 'key matchup' in our preview piece would seem like a pretty strong hint that Kimbal won't be playing. And there's literally not a team in the league I feel especially confident about us beating without him right now.

We looked rudderless without Kimbal and if Russell is touted as a match-up with Robinson then we're screwed! I really like Russell and think he could be a key bench player at Riders but Robinson would have him for breakfast.

Riders have not lost Vs Scorcher / Heat since 2012 40 wins and 1 draw….. The Plymouth record went earlier this season will Riders be able to keep this run going.

Well done to Riders. Tough to win away with 3 players out. Russell did very well - no Robinson to guard him!

not sure what relevance that has? eagles haven’t been good enough to talk trash for a few years now.
Cheshire are good enough but they don’t half talk. That’s fine by me provided you don’t get all precious when it gets given back to you.

Nix make Lions look beatable yet again. Could have gone either way tonight.

Wasn't sure what was said although a blonde lady in a Cheshire shirt didn't have give Youngblood an ear full post game. Safe to say if Nix and Lions meet at the O2 in the final it's going to be alot more tense now.

Lions coach had Skyler around the neck mid court. The main kick off was when Taylor said something after shaking hands with Rideu. Didn’t notice anymore than a bit of pushing.
