Totally agree about our weakness at PG without Kimbal on court. Holmes is good but imo he doesn't offer the creativity of guards such as Green or Johnson. Their assists make other players better. Not arguing Holmes doesn't do that too at times but not often enough for the team to prosper. Holmes isn't a PG. Our alternatives to Kimbal are Sesan and Conner. Sesan looks to have a bit about him and I suspect the hope may well be that he'll ultimately become that reliable third or fourth guard that Conner has been for much of his career. But he's obviously very inexperienced at this stage. As for Conner, I'm afraid Thursday night further underscored my belief that Rob no longer has anything like the same confidence in this player that he once did. He subbed in for a minute or so at the end of the first quarter, turned the ball over and was immediately sat back down, never to be seen again. I don't know what stage Conner is at with his current degree. But if this is his final year at Loughborough I think it'll probably be his final year as a Rider full stop. |

Agree, he annoyed people but he added lots As knowledgeable as he is considering he was pretty much the death of the other board. I think most of us sadly agree that we don't want him around and causing havoc on this one. I'm all for us having a debate, banter, a difference of an opinion. I understand we all support different teams and we're not all going to agree on everything. But that is what makes this board what it is and sometimes that can be fun too. I understand that some of the things I say or my opinions on my team, other team or basketball not everyone will agree with and I respect that and love the debate. At times I have had one point of view or outlook on one thing and then someone else has enlightened me to see a different view point or something I didn't know which is all fine by me. Sometimes I see opinions and people saying stuff I don't agree with and I may argue or I just accept that's their opinion and back down. With Hersey as knowledgeable as he was unfortunately he didn't know when to let something lie and when to backdown. And instead of being an adult about things he decided to drag his petty arguments onto every forum thread and even post about it on his blog sometimes which for someone working in the basketball industry I thought was highly unprofessional. To the point where every other user got fed up of it and despite repeated warnings to cease this behaviour he still refused to acknowledge this and continued to not let there be peace and just let us talk about basketball. At the end of the day as much as I didn't want his exile to happen. Think of it this way, if you went out a night out to a local pub or club where everyone was having a good time but their was one guy constantly causing a problem and trying to fight people but the staff didn't barr them. Eventually you would decide not to go to that nightclub anymore and go elsewhere. Which is pretty much what we all did in setting up this separate board because nothing was being done on the other page. Sorry long winded explanation but if you were to ask me do I miss Hersey? He is welcome to his blog but as far as this forum is concerned I would prefer it if he stayed away from here. |

I was using it as an example for how we have different opinions on things but we are respectable of each other. And despite us not having the same views I would never attack him or any other fan in a personal way. And our difference on here is what makes this board a fun place to debate and discuss. Although my above post wasn't in direct to him though so i am a little confused? However I think to avoid this thread getting off topic as i can see this page being all about Hersey. I would kindly advise and suggest people to message me personally for further discussion. |

In general terms, if someone does not abide by the rules of an organisation, or society, they will be excluded, for the benefit of all the members.
some people make the decision to exclude them very easy.
